Dirt Bike Poker Runs Washington

The Desert 100 is really a weekend full of dirt bike family fun. The events start on Saturday and include the following:

Family Poker Run

This is a fun event for the whole family and each year it gathers hundreds and hundreds of motorcycle riders just looking to have a fun ride and great time.

Iron Man Poker Run

This is not for the faint at heart. Designed for the more advanced dirt bike rider, this event is much longer and harder than our Family Poker Run.

Adventure / Dual Sport Poker Run

We also put on a very fun ride for those who have street legal adventure and dual sport bikes. People always look forward to these events knowing they are in for a fun day. You will explore the channeled scablands, have lunch at the Brewery, see the sights of Odessa, and explore the surrounding area. The ride is set up as an Adventure loop with several marked Dual Sport trail loops of varying difficulty available to test your skills. No matter what your skill level, you will have a great time on your street legal bike on the Adventure / Dual Sport Poker Run.

Mini Race

We have a separate course for the little ones to race their dirt bikes on. They get the same escorted parade to the start line as the 100 mile racers. The race classes are based on the racers age on race day and are Age 8 & Under, Age 9-10, and Age 11-12. The maximum front wheel size is 19″ stock.

Beginner Ladies Ride

This free ride is to promote beginning lady dirt bike riders in a non intimidating environment and will be immediately following the Mini Race on Saturday morning. We will have an escort waiting at the main stage at 9:30 am to parade all the riders to the course.

There are a few rules for the Beginners Ladies Ride.

The World Famous Kenda Stumpjumpers Desert 100

Since 1969 when this annual race began, the Desert 100, once known as Mattawa, has been the most prestigious off road race of the year. On Sunday morning the air is buzzing as 1000+ racers prepare to compete in the weekend finale, The Kenda Stumpjumpers Desert 100 Race. Immediately after the mandatory rider’s meeting, the massive group of dirt bikes will parade out from the stage to be lined up. Pros and amateurs will position across the longest start line anywhere and await the cannon blast that signals the start of the 100 mile race. The racers will run to their bikes, jump on them, get them fired up and finally take off in a drag race across open desert to the flags for the holeshot. Next they will continue off into the unknown to battle the desert and each other. The relentless channeled scablands will test the riders and their machines to their limits over the next several hours and 100 miles. Exhausted, the finishers will each cross the stage and receive a coveted Finisher’s Shirt. A few will be going for the win but most will be just looking to finish the most challenging race around.

Food Drive – We host a food drive for the Odessa Food Bank at the race site on the race weekend. Your donations are gladly accepted. Pet food accepted too. Thanks for your support!

Due to our land use contract, the Kenda Stumpjumpers Desert 100 weekend is a dirt bike only event. Please do not bring any ORVs with more than 2 wheels. You will not be allowed to bring them into camp.
